I am pleased to send you our NATIONAL HOME IMPROVEMENT MONTH APRIL

The NHIC generic articles include a lot of new information and
cover a wide range of subjects of interest to your readers on
improving, extending and maintaining their homes. This is supported
by many of the NHIC Members' own press releases.
The generic articles can be provided on floppy disk or via e-mail,
and we also have anumber of relevant photos and illustrations
available on CD that can be supplied on request.
I hope you will feel free to use this information as you wish.
If you require any further help please contact either myself or
the relevant NHIC Member on the special list of members enclosed.
The NHIC logo is also enclosed in PMT form. We hope you will find
space to use it whenever you have a home improvement feature.
I should like to point out that many of our Members have special
guarantees and consumer warranty schemes that apply to their products
and services. And they all adhere to strict codes of practice.
May I also draw your attention and that of your readers to our
website (www.nhic.org.uk) where there is additional information.
Finally, can I please focus your attention to the prestigious
NHIC Annual Awards, which take place in London in November. There
is a special category for Regional/Local Newspapers and I hope
you will enter. An entry form is enclosed and I do hope you will
participate.
Once again the Awards will be presented by a leading Government
Minister at a special luncheon held in London during November
2003.
