A fire to the architecturally very important 1906 Troon property required the roof to be totally replaced.  Construction was carried out without architectural drawings using photographs of the original.  Difficult mitred hips where each tile needed to be cut, swept valleys and different roof pitches.

Runner-Up: Clarke Roofing Southern Ltd

The reroofing of a Grade II listed building with everything done on a like for like basis.  Every existing detail was replicated including tile fillets at abutments and the inclusion of green bottle bases in the ridge to indicate a home sympathetic to smugglers.  In addition insulation was installed to meet current regulations.

Runner-Up: Bolton Roofing Contractors Ltd

The reroofing of a 1891 Class C heritage tenement block using reclaimed Ballachulish slates.  All installed to heritage specification.  The horse shoe plan of the roof required great skill of the roofers.
