The Electrical Safety Council is an independent UK charity committed to reducing deaths and injuries caused by electrical accidents at home and at work.

Supported by all sectors of the electrical industry as well as central and local government, we run general awareness campaigns and events to help educate the public about the dangers of electricity as well as initiatives covering specific areas of risk such as product, fire and child safety.

We represent the interests of consumers on relevant national and international committees and work in partnership to improve standards and promote best practice.
